This mattress is fabulous - especially for cot-beds & junior beds where your baby will be sleeping for at least five of for their formative years
Individual springs are housed in their own fabric pockets as shown in the photographs of the mattress interior.
The more springs there are, the better the support & comfort for your baby. Typically, a cot bed mattress (140 x 70 cm) will have 264 individual springs.
Each spring works individually providing support for baby's back, neck & head.
The mattress covering is made from a very special anti-dustmite fabric (developed by Notingham University) which actually prevents dustmites from breeding. Hence it is iis ideal for any asthma or allergy problems. The mattress cover easily zips of for washing. An optional waterproof sleeve underneath the fabric cover is avaiable at no extra cost (ideal for those potty training days!)
